There is so much architecture here that is unusual to me as I live in a city where a lot of the buildings look like they were built in the seventies, so I wanted to do something that juxtaposed old and new technology. Though these buildings are quite different, it's interesting to me to think that at one time the building on the right looked really modern to someone, like something they had never seen before. Whereas now, even the building on the left, which is modern in style, is not something that we would consider ground-breaking technology. Speaking of architecture, I'm off to catch an architecture tour boat right now! I don't usually like being talked at, but so many people have suggested it to us that I have high hopes of enjoying it.
